Atari 5200 Consoles
The Atari 5200 SuperSystem was first released in 1982 as a higher end alternative to Atari's 2600 console. The Atari 5200 games console was aimed at competing with the Intellivision but unintentionally ended up in competing with the ColecoVision after release.
The console was touted as an upgraded version of theAtari 2600 and came complete with an analog joystick and keypad. The main advantage of the 5200 over the 2600 was the more fluid joystick. Offering 360 degree movement, it provided a greater sense of control than the older console which was restricted to just eight directions of movement.
We aim to stock high volumes of the Atari 5200 and hope to always have exactly what you're looking for. If we don't appear to have the retro console you want, please feel free to let us know and we will do everything we can to get hold of it for you.
